Description
The Macmillan Information and Support Centre is at the main entrance to the Beatson on Level 1,
beside the revolving door. The centre is for anyone affected by cancer including patients, carers,
relatives or friends of someone who has a cancer diagnosis. The Centre is managed by an NHS
Macmillan Healthcare Professional, supported by NHS and Glasgow Life Volunteers.
You can drop-in any time during opening hours or leave a message on the answering machine when it is
closed. We can help with any questions or concerns you may have and make sure you have access to the
right services. Some resources can be provided in other formats and languages, e.g.
audio, DVD, and easy read booklets. We also have a portable hearing loop in the centre and access to
online sign language.
